"My Memories" Giveaway

I was recently given some scrapbooking software by My Memories to try out.

It was incredible easy to use, with all kinds of design elements.

I chose to make my own design with my pictures from our family trip to France last summer, although there were templates I could have used, plus there are many more available online.
It was fun to make the design and try out different elements. The scrapbooking software is very user friendly.
I printed my design on fabric (I'll talk about that in another post), since I wanted to see how useful the software would be for quilting.

I think it made a great mini quilt. It is 8" x 10".

I used wool batting and just outlined the pictures to make them stand out (although the images do have a shadow that I added with the scrapbooking software).

The only embellishment that I added was a ribbon wrapped around the edge of the quilt before I added the binding.

I hung this new mini quilt in - you guessed it - my mini quilt room.

Thanks to the people at My Memories for giving me a copy of this digital scrapbooking software - I know I will put it to good use.

They were also very generous to give me a copy to give to one of you. All you have to do is visit My Memories and come back to leave a comment on this post, telling me what your favourite digital paper pack or layout is. Make sure I have a way to reach you.
I will draw a winner next Thursday after 7pm CST (April 12th, 2012).

If you would like to buy the software, here is a code for $10 off -

                                STMMMS75080

just copy and paste it in the appropriate field when ordering.

Thanks for stopping by, good luck if you enter the giveway, and have a great day!

Your memory quilt looks great. Looks like the software would be great fun. I am just starting out with some scrapbooking ideas. My favorit is April showers.

I already have this software and I have to tell you it is the best ever! Way better than Adobe Photo software. It's so flexible! And, funny, I do the same thing. I design labels for the back of my quilt and then print them on fabric and iron them on the back! I can't believe I ran into someone else doing similar! Anyway, If I win choose another person :) Also, you might want to follow My Memories on facebook. They share and giveaway free elements and design packs! Thanks for sharing! You earned another follower :)

what terrific software put to very good use in your little mini remembrance of Paris. I would love to win, my favorite from visiting their web site is the scrap booking kit under the category of friends. So many choices makes it really hard.

Never would have thought to print it on fabric like that. Clever idea! Love your mini quilt!
I could spend a long time at that site; so much to look at. I liked the Spring Easter papers. I'd love to get this software and do albums for my kids. Thanks for the chance to win it!

Hi Joanne,

Your mini quilt is wonderful. What a great way to display some photos from your trip. Mr Wonderful was born in Paris, but has not been back since he was three.

I loved the Indigo Designs, especially the Autumn Nocturne. Maybe I could actually get some scrapbooking done this way.

blessings, jilly
